Courts have ruled that you have no right to privacy concerning data the government collects on you. In other words, information you give to the government for a drivers license can be sold to private corporations for mailers. That is why you receive unwanted advertisements in the mail for insurance and car loans.
This is information that they legally require you to give to do anything.
This is a blatant violation of the Fourth Amendment.
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
Military records are open to public scrutiny despite the fact that they contain data which can be used for identity theft. Government records are routinely made available to the public despite the danger of the same thing. Usually, as in this case, to make someone look like a horrid criminal for actually utilizing or enforcing their God-given, natural constitutional rights according to the Bill of Rights.
The Declaration of Independence says of government:
That to secure these rights, [such as those listed in the Bill of Rights] Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.
The government is supposed to protect the rights of the people. They are not supposed to sell data they collect on people—especially when that data may endanger their lives.
This whole problem of violating rights started with Comrade Woodrow Wilson and his Secretary of the Navy Franklin Roosevelt who determined that you have no rights. The whole “progressive” movement is based on editing the Declaration of Independence and Constitution to take what you like and ignore the rest.
This is a invasion of privacy that does nothing to safeguard the law abiding from the criminal element. One barking dog can herd a thousand sheep to be sheared.
December 23rd 2012 a New York Newspaper Printed the names and addresses of every Licensed Pistol Permit holder in two Counties and another County is being posted shortly! This is a massive privacy breach and the latest in a series of over the top emotional reactions to the latest shooting tragedy in Sandy Hook CT meant to intimidate the lawful and prey on peoples fears to exploit the gun grabbing agenda.
